Another end!verse prompt- Cas is patching Dean up and he brings out a pair of latex gloves to do it. Dean is uncomfortable by them but also can't stop staring and Cas notices.

Cas can't heal Dean for whatever reason, but one touch to Dean's forehead and he can knock him out. Dean's a giant sickie pie and not into the whole actually-getting-rest thing. So Cas and Sam make him sleep while they research the hunt at hand. They make him sleep a lot.

now I know I'm tired. I read this as "Cas' MIDDLE finger".....

Wee!Chesters. Dean and Sam are taken away by CPS for whatever reason, and John can't get them back (or he's dead/missing). Dean and Sam eventually end up being adopted by a nice family. Luckily they're adopted together, but Dean watches as Sam seems to integrate into the family so easily, while Dean feels like he doesn't fit in. Dean feels like Sam has a new family, and he isn't truly a part of it. In reality, the adoptive parents love both Dean and Sam equally, but Dean has trouble believing it due to his low self-esteem. The adoptive parents try to figure out how to help Dean understand that he is loved and a part of their new family just as much as Sam is.

Dean got sick or hurt, enough that he needs to stay put for a while. Sam unfortunately has to urgently defeat a monster, and since basically everyone they know is dead he leaves Dean with Frank. I just want Frank taking care of Dean, I think that could be interesting!

Dean has a PTSD related panic attack somewhere public. Sam isn't there, but a military veteran who has PTSD recognizes what is happening and helps Dean through it. Then afterwards they vaguely talk about it, with the vet assuming that Dean was in the military as well.

Dean stays out in the sun too long and gets badly sun-burned. He's grumpy because Sam was out there with him and only got more tan, so he makes his brother put the aloe vera on him because it just hurts too much to move.

Dean ends up as a teen in the WWSNB universe. But it turns out that the Dean that Mary, John, and Sam knew was a bit of a screw up (drank, smoke, did drugs, failing in school, hanging out with the wrong crowd of people, etc.). basically Dean finding out that he's a disappointment to his family and he tries to make up for it. He tries to get his Father to love and trust him but John's still mad at something the other Dean did that this Dean doesn't remember doing, tries to get Sam to be best friends (lovers?) with him again, and tries to get that saddened look off of Mary's face. He finally has what he wants but his other self fucked it up so he has to set it all right. Maybe he gets a little depressed because he's trying so hard to make it up to his family and its just not working because his other self used to say he's change too but never did (idk)

I don't know at what age kids start to get school lunches in the US, but this would be like Dean's first year. Anyway, before he was able to "put his game-face on". He's really hungry (the usual: not enough food at home, John's away hunting monsters, or making more Winchester babies :), and whatever food there is, Dean makes sure Sammy has enough, and he missed a few days of school...) Now in a kind of Oliver Twist scenario he goes up to ask for more, for a bigger helping (cause maybe he wants to bring some home for Sammy). The Evil Lunch Lady gives him grief for it and some of the other kids start hassling him/making fun of him. Naturally he's mortified.

Hence his "phobia" of Evil Lunch Ladies as mentioned in Plucky Pennywhistle

Another kid/teacher/school counselor... witnesses this and later tries to comfort him.

Just why does Dean love to constantly be eating? And what's with the food orgasm noises he makes while eating? Can anyone seriously love to eat that much? Sam brings this up to Dean and Dean shuts down about it, embarrassed. What Sam doesn't know is that Dean went without food a lot growing up because John was gone and there wasn't enough more, so of course Dean put Sam's need for food ahead of his own. Sam had no clue because he was too young to notice. Maybe he comes across those old photos they got in Home and sees that Dean was pretty scrawny for a kid. H/C and schmoop ensues as (of course) Sam makes sure that they talk about this.

“Mmmmmm. Ooooooom. Ummmmyummmm.”

“I’ll have what he’s having!” a voice suddenly pipes up right behind Sam. He turns around to see the two elderly women in the next booth dissolve into girlish giggles.

“Dean.”

“Mm-mmm-wha?”

“Can you tone down the sex noises? You’re making me uncomfortable.”

“’Mnot makin’ sex noises. Oooh, so gooood.”

“I know you like apple pie. A lot. But this is getting ridiculous.”

“’Snot my fault you don’t appreciate food as much as me. Oh, yesss!” he exclaims, suddenly remembering the two scoops of vanilla ice cream. He starts sucking it in with obscene slurping noises. There’s a renewed round of giggling right behind Sam’s head.

Suddenly, Dean clutches his forehead and lets out a deep groan that sounds positively orgasmic. Sam’s bench starts to shake, and when he risks a glance behind him he sees the woman closest to him is convulsing with laughter, while the other is so doubled over her grey curls are trailing in her cream of tomato soup.

When Sam turns back, Dean is still holding his head with one hand, but keeps quickly spooning ice cream into his mouth with the other.

“You give yourself an ice cream headache every single time. The way you throw yourself at food, you’d think you were starved as a child or something.”

Dean suddenly freezes with a spoonful of ice cream halfway to his mouth, and gives Sam a hurt look which he quickly shutters. He can’t hide the blush creeping through his freckles and climbing to the tips of his ears though.

He drops the spoon back onto the plate with a clatter, then digs his wallet out of his back pocket and slaps a few bills on the table.

“Time to hit the road,” he says gruffly, not looking at Sam.

“Dean wha-? I didn’t meant to—finish your pie at least.”

“We need to go if we’re going to eat up more miles before we have to stop for the night.” Dean stands up and stalks out of the diner.

As Sam gets up to follow, he notices the two older ladies look very miffed at him for depriving them of their dinner entertainment.

The look on Dean’s face haunts Sam through 140 miles and Metallica’s Black Album. Dean hasn’t said a word. He didn’t even sing along to The Unforgiven.

Dean pulls them into the parking lot of the Rivendell Motel and gets them a room. Sam dumps his duffel on the bed farthest from the door, and barely takes in the Lord of the Rings bedspread before heading back out under the pretext of getting a soda.

In reality, he’s heading for the trunk of the Impala. With a glance around, he pulls up the false bottom and sifts through shotguns and knives until he finds a battered old cigar box. He closes the trunk, and opens the box.

The first photos are the ones Jenny gave them after they rid their old home of that nasty poltergeist. Dean is holding baby Sammy with a proud smile, rosy round cheeks, and a mop of lustrous blonde hair. He’s the picture of health and happiness.

The next photo of Dean was taken by Uncle Bobby in the salvage yard the first time Dad had left them there. Dean is about eight and has his arm protectively gripped around a four-year-old Sam. His hair is duller, his face paler, and he’s wearing a fierce, feral look instead of a smile.

In front of a sagging lakeside cabin in Minnesota, 12-year-old Dean is holding up dinner, three rainbow trout. He’s standing tall, puffed up with pride at having caught the food that will feed his family, but he still looks scrawny as hell. His cheeks are sunken, the wife beater hangs limply off small shoulders, and his skinny arms are covered with bug bites in spite of the fact he can’t have provided much of a meal.

Dean undergoes an extended time under total sensory deprivation and the experience triggers all the land minds he's kept bottled up in his brain. Sam has to deal with the aftermath. Sam/Dean or Gen.

Gen, please. So, in Jus In Bello, Dean gets shot. Apparently they clean it, bandage it and move on, everything's fine, thank you very much. Now, what if it wasn't that easy? Maybe the bullet caused greater damage, maybe the demon wasn't such a poor shot and actually hit something more life-threatening than a shoulder (lungs, maybe?)... I don't really care, I would just like to see everyone dealing with the whole demon situation while Dean is not only unable to help but also in desperate need of medical attention they cannot provide immediately. Bonus points if Dean's awake and aware of what is going on and is pissed and upset and guilty because dammit he's a hunter he should be helping and not lying around being a burden.

I've always loved the ep, how Dean just would. Not. Sacrifice the virgin. Inspite of what Sam says. And how cool his idea of the big devil's trap and the exorcism via PA was. Cunning plan or what?

This is modeled after a prompt I saw on a meme in another fandom. It can be any genre.

Dean has been left chained to a wall. When Sam finds him, he has no way to get the chains off, and for some reason they have to wait for help, or maybe Sam is detained too. Sam has to protect Dean, and also helps him hold himself up against the wall, rubs his arms to help with circulation, etc.

But people are dying, and seeing that his brother is in good hands and going to be okay, Sam goes back to finish the job. When Dean wakes up he's weak, confused but worried and wants to immediately join Sam. Fortunately, nothing works better on an unruly Winchester than Ellen.

After defeating the leviathans together, Sam is relatively okay and Dean isn't. He's badly hurt and unconscious. Cas is there, but after his ordeal with hallucifer, he's lost his healing mojo. He and Sam carry Dean gently from the battleground, tend to his injuries as best they can, lie him in the back of a car and take turns sitting with him while they drive across however many states to get the Impala.
