|  I decided to part with my JE magazine and clippings collection. I can make a list of everything that's in it if anyone is interested. Some of the magazines have pieces cut out of them. It should be mainly NEWS, KAT-TUN, and Kanjani8, with some TOKIO/KinKi Kids/V6. I'd really like to get rid of it in one go. I suppose I could split it up by group if you're willing to buy several of them at once. I weighed it and it's 27 pounds, so shipping won't be cheap. Does anyone have any suggestions for places to post this, prices, etc.? Or you can even make me an offer yourself. I don't need to gouge anyone for the money, but I did pay for these. | |

| "If you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there." - Lewis Carroll I checked in with the archaeology job again. Apparently they still haven't finalized things with their clients up north, which means that they still don't know if they can hire additional people for the field season. My contact seemed frustrated by this - but not frustrated at me. She again encouraged me to keep in touch. But things are too close to the wire. I'll be homeless on the 31st. I can't stay here. So I've bought my plane ticket to Newfoundland. I'll be heading that way on the 30th. In theory I know that this hasn't changed my situation at all. I could still get this job and head to Calgary and actually get to use my degree for once. If everything turns out well than this will just be a visit with my brother that I really need. But it's really hard not to feel discouraged. Plus, I'm in the midst of packing and moving. It's hard not to feel discouraged at this point. On the one hand: Why do I have so much stuff? Oh, hi! Actually, the title is not only a quote, but a quite literal summary of my current situation.
I'm so completely obsessed focused on this pairing: Blake Shelton/Adam Levine from the American TV show "The Voice" that I can barely think, letalone write about anything else.
You might know Blake Shelton as a country singer, who has charted 22 country singles, including thirteen Number Ones and three additional Top Tens. He has also been nominated four times for a Grammy Award, and he has been winning the Male Vocalist of the Year award since 2010 onwards.
I assume you all know Adam Levine, lead singer and frontman of the pop rock band Maroon 5.
If you watch ONE single episode from season 4 of The Voice, you will see the sparks flying; me and Vicky have been so stunned by their interaction and chemistry that we started from season 1 because we needed to see where it all started.
I'm telling y'all this because I'm working on an amazing fanfiction and I need art. Drawings, manips, anything, the more the better. Any of you gentle, talented souls is willing to help?

| Now, in my opinion money isn't the route of all evil - it's religion. I live in the UK and two days ago two men chased and practically decapitated a man in Woolwich in London.
I was really shocked by this. The guy was a soldier and had been in Afghanistan but was back home. The guys who killed him were, allegedly, muslims who wanted to start a war in the UK...
Why can't people just let others believe what they want and just get on with their own lives?
I'm not particularly religious and maybe if I was I would have a better, more biased, opinion but who knows.
I feel sorry for the soldiers family, (A) because they know how horribly their loved one died, (B) because the soldier was back home, they felt he was safe.
I also feel sorry, to a certain degree, to people of the muslim faith (because that was what the guys who did it said they were!) because I fear the backlash that will happen to ordinary, peaceful muslims.
Part of me wishes we lived in a more insular society where people who believed one thing lived together and people who believed other things lived together and neither met at all.... if that makes sense.
Ultimately I don't see any benefit in religion if people truly believe it is right to hack someone to death, which let's be honest here is what they did, in the name of their god...
